Making Moth Sugar

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
What you will need:
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • Water
  • 1 Quart Plastic Jug
  • Old Paintbrush
  • Sponge
  • Apple Juice (optional)
What you need to do:
  • Fill the jug with water
  • Mix sugar into the jug of water
  • Use the paint brush to brush the "moth sugar" on a stump, rock, or fence post. 
  • Soak the sponge in the mixture and hand it on a tree
  • Check for visitors just after dark
  • If you don't have visitors, add apple juice to the "Moth Sugar"
