| Fruit and berry bearing trees and shrubs,
flowers, nut trees, and grasses are all important food sources for wildlife.
When planning your habitat, make note of all that you have in place.
Plan those plants that you wish to add to your property. While you are
planning, keep in mind the kinds of wildlife you would like to attract.
Visit Planting the Habitat for more information on plants.
If planting is out of the question, there are many good ready to feed
supplements on the market. Sunflower and wild bird seed, peanuts,
white bread (a favorite), bakery scraps, and dried and fresh fruits are all
very popular and quite appreciated. |
